The Wentworth Point Marinas Project

We are proud to announcement our collaboration with one of Sydney’s largest developers. The Wentworth Point Marinas Project is made up of four apartment complexes with a combined worth of US$308.5 Million which will completely transform Wentworth Points foreshore.

thyssenkrupp Infrastructure was in on the ground floor, providing a cost effective lightweight sheet pile in the SCH-5, which was used for the basements cantilevered walls and lift pits. The STU-8 and STU-1000 was also utilized for its ability to re-drive over and again. When it came to installation, Billbergia required a Muller MS-7 HFB excavator mounted vibro hammer along with a gooseneck to fit on to their 20 ton excavator in order to drive these sheets. As 8m was the regular sheet length, thyssenkrupp Infrastructure fabricated a gooseneck to give the hammer the required clearance.
