Cold-rolled Sheet Pile Sections

Safe, economical, dependable

We can supply a range of U sections, Z sections, HAT sections, trench sheeting and lightweight sections to suit the market directly from our production via cold-rolling mills overseas. As a supplier of services to the construction industry, we ensure solutions that are cost-effective and tailored to your project, characterized by fast, on-time deliveries and trouble-free procedures.

Cold-rolled sections are formed from steel sheet in its cold state. Such sections are primarily used in trench shoring and for strengthening dikes because they combine a high structural stiffness with a low weight.

SCU Sections

The cold rolled SCU range from thyssenkrupp combine great profile depth with excellent static properties. At manufacturing it is possible to assemble the piles into pairs. This improves the quality and performance of installation. The SCU sections comply with EN 10249 cold rolled sheet piles.

We can supply up to 850mm wide sections, but can also meet individual requirements at request.

Applications:

  • Cofferdam
  • River bank protection
  • Deep foundations
  • Land reclamation
  • Hard ground with narrow sections

SCZ Sections

The cold-rolled SCZ range from thyssenkrupp have a large width which provides superb installation performance and they have an extremely competitive section-modulus to mass ratio. They also have increased the inertia for reduced deflection. The SCZ sections are manufactured to comply with EN 10249 cold rolled sheet piles

We can supply sections with a section modulus of up to 5230 cm³/m. Special requirements for your project can be discussed with our team.

Applications:

  • Port construction
  • Deep foundation
  • Intermediary piles for combined walls

Advantages:

  • tk-check Higher section modulus
  • tk-check Interlock on both sides of the neutral wall axis
  • tk-check Economical weight to section modulus ratio
  • tk-check Cost saving on sheet piling installations
