Diesel Hammers
Basically, diesel hammers function like a two-stroke engine. Therefore they do not need to be connected to an external energy supply and do not require any steam, compressed-air, hydraulic or electric groups to drive them.
If necessary, a hydraulic starting device is used when they are mounted to leaders on hydraulic carriers.
Applications
- Foundation work, like e.g. driving of steel sections
- and prefabricated concrete piles
- Integration of pile elements in bearing layers
- On a pile driver ram or guided on a leader
